In 14th and 15th century Europe was engulfed in enlightenment era. Many exploration was done in search of new continent or specifically in search of colony. This was the time when American continent was discovered and many Europeans colonised the distant land for selfish purpose and migration took place at the distant continent. In a few decades, that distant continent had been crowded by europeans and they controlled the resources of the land majorly. The resident europeans who migrated there, hold political freedom and major decisions at local level was done by their assembly. However, still economic affairs was controlled by Britishers and their parliament. British Parliament's undue policies and unprecedented taxation system provoked the resident Americans and a war of struggle started against British Government and regime.
Causes :
#‌ In 17th and 18th century, many enlightenment thought emerged in Europe. Philosopher like Loke, Rousseau, Montesquieu brought the concept of State of Nature and Social Contract Theory. In their philosophy emphasis was on freedom, liberty, rights of individuals and minimisation of state roles in individual's life. These philosophies enlightened the Americans and they started thinking about a state with these virtuous possessions.

‌# Loss of French in seven year wars against Britain removed the fear of French from American's mind. However, seven year wars was the reason for harsher economic policies for Americans which further created necessary conditions for the revolution.

‌# Colonial mindset of mercantilism which motive was the benefit of the mother country i.e. Britain was also the reason of the revolution. Under this policy Britain brought the many acts in which major were Navigation Acts, Trade Acts, Iron Acts, and Stamp Act in 1765.

Americans understood the motives of Britishers in mid 18th century. They understood that tax collected from them were not utilised for the development of the people's of America, instead it was used in interest of Britain. In Massachusetts Assembly all the leaders of 13 colonies gathered and adopted the slogan of " No Taxation without Representation". In this continuation, a more incident of Bosten Tea Party took place in which 342 chests of tea belonging to British East India Company were thrown from ships into Boston Harbor by Americans. In response Britishers closed the Boston port to all trades and passed the Intolerable Acts of 1774.

All these factors created a atmosphere in which all the colonies of America United and started to wage an armed struggle against Britishers. They brought the strength in his struggle with the help of France and defeated the British forces and with the Treaty of Paris in 1783, war came to an end. Under this provision United States was recognised as free and sovereign country by Britain. It resulted in creation of first Republic Government and country in the world.
