Chang-e'5 is an Chinese robotic spacecraft which is being designed to launch to moon to bring back rock sample from the lunar surface.
On 24th of November 2020, it has been launched by the largest Chinese carrier rocket Long March-5. It consist of a lander and an ascender vehicle. Lander will drill into lunar surface and transfer the sample to ascender vehicle.
This entire mission is scheduled for around 23 days.
Well, if mission is completed as planned , China will be only 3rd country to have retrieved Lunar sample after USA and Soviet Union .
